The global retailer launched Luxury Stores on September 15, 2020. It is a mobile marketplace where customers of Amazon can shop for sophisticated fashion brands. The company set a business agreement with Oscar de la Renta. It is the first and only label available as of now on Amazon. For the following weeks, more brands are expected to make their way and lend their products to be sold on this platform.
Christine Beauchamp, the president of Amazon, said that she is very excited about creating an elevated and inspiring customer experience while infusing technology that makes shopping easier and more delightful. She believes that it is an opportunity to partner with luxury brands and a synergetic environment to bring luxury shopping available for succeeding generations.
It is the choice of Oscar de la Renta to partner with Amazon and he said that he assumed that 100% of their existing customers are on Amazon and a huge percentage of them are Prime members. It is a way to get new customers since they were offered a comfortable shopping experience.
However, only Prime members of Amazon can have the eligibility to access Luxury Stores. On the other hand, you can still request an invitation for exclusive access by signing in.
More offers are expected to come from Amazon. It is also predicted that there will be plenty of white gowns for brides to choose from soon.
