The shoot took place at Oldberrow House which is an amazing Victorian Country House which stands within 37 acres of grounds just outside of Henley-in-Arden in Warwickshire.
The Wedding Dresses
We used two Stella York wedding dresses, style numbers 6534 and 6542 aswell as Charlotte Balbier Alora. Inspired Brides approached us as a bridal boutique and selected the gowns they wanted to feature. We then ensured the gowns fitted the models perfectly and were on set throughout the shoot to perfect the dress for each shot.
The day started with everyone gathering on set at 10am and this time we finished at 2pm. These shoots usually last slightly longer than that but we were fortunate enough to have booked identical twin models. That meant we could prepare two looks at the same time without losing camera time for changes.
We were prepared by Inspired Brides for the shoot to happen whatever the weather. Assured that they had attended numerous shoots where the rain has been horrendous but broken for an hour during the day where they managed to run out and get some incredible photographs! Luckily for us, the weather was on our side that day. No rain, sunny but cold so the pictures look fab…… although the models were rather chilly!
Incredible Wedding Suppliers
Of course the wedding dresses weren’t the only feature of the shoot, we were working alongside some other amazing suppliers from the local wedding industry – Joanna Briggs photography, Mode Bridal Hair & Make up, beautiful floral arrangements supplied by Lilac & Wild, a stunning wedding cake by Deliciously Divine Cake Design and charming stationery from Invitations Illustrated.
